Share from mobile
Share your signature mashup* from the number you registered with 211(me):
- Send a text message to our short code: 555211
- In the text message enter the persons’ mobile phone number or email that you want to send your mashup to.
For example:
You meet someone, you ran out of paper cards, THIS IS A PERSON that you need to connect with. Take out your phone and say something like “I want to send you my 211(me) card.” Show them your card, and smoothly say “what is your phone number?”
- Open a new text message
- Enter 555211 in the “TO” field
- Ask the person their mobile phone number
- Enter their ten digit phone number in the body of the message
- Click send
- They get your mashup. You are awesome.
*Signature Mashup:
We designate the first mashup you create as your primary mashup and link it to your mobile phone. You can change it anytime by logging in, clicking on a mashup in your Gallery, and clicking “Set as signature".
Special Note: You can send any mashup using the mobile Internet.
Send a mashup to your mobile phone and click the link in the text message. Click "Share" at the top of the mashup and enter a mobile phone number or email.
Share cards from the website:
- Login
- Select “Gallery”
- Click any mashup
- Next to mashup click “Share”
- Enter a mobile phone number or email.
- Click “Send” The mashup is sent, you are awesome.
*Use this same process to send cards to your own mobile phone.
How to Reply
Reply to a mashup:
- Receive a mashup to your mobile phone
- Open the text message
- Open the link to the mashup to see the full version
- Above the mashup click “Reply”
- Enter your name
- Enter your note
- Click “Send,” it is sent and you are still awesome.
